Friend of the Court Customer Service

In-Person

Starting May 16, 2022, the Friend of the Court Customer Service lobby at the Penobscot Building will be OPEN to the public on Mondays and Thursdays only, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (must be in line by 3:45 p.m.).  All customers will be required to wear a medical grade mask. Space will be limited to allow for proper social distancing. 

Virtual

The Friend of the Court offers safe and convenient virtual customer service appointments.  Customers can meet virtually one-on-one with a child support professional about their case to get information and ask questions.

Appointments are available Monday, Tuesday, and Friday (except holidays) from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and are scheduled for twenty (20) minutes.  Appointments are easy to make and easy to connect to the day of the appointment. You do not need to have the Setmore application installed, simply click “Join your meeting” in your confirmation email at the time of your appointment. 

You must have an updated internet browser to connect to the meeting.  Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are preferred.

If you have any documents to provide to the Court, please have a digital copy ready to send during the meeting.
