  • Cameras / Recording Devices* Including Smart glasses and AI glasses
  • Can Openers of any kind, including P38’s
  • Cans – All Types
  • Cigarette Lighters/Matches
  • Chord like Objects such as Ropes, Chains, Straps, and Wires (charging chords, purse straps and lanyards are allowed.)
  • Darts
  • Dental Floss
  • Drug Paraphernalia
  • Explosive Materials or Objects
  • Glass or Mirrors of any kind, including Glass Bottles (compacts allowed)
  • Guns or replicas of guns
  • Hair Clippers
  • Handcuffs
  • Illegal Drugs
  • Knives (any kind)
  • Large Perfume Bottles
  • Laser Pointer
  • Mace / Pepper Spray
  • Marijuana
  • Metal Flatware (which includes Knives, Forks, or Spoons)
  • Needles of any kind, except with medical documentation
  • Noisemakers of any kind
  • Padlocks
  • Paints of any kind
  • Razors or Razor Blades
  • Scissors
  • Spikes
  • Tools of any sort (i.e.) (Hammers, Saw, Measuring Tape, Screwdrivers etc.)

  • Vape – vaping products
  • Weapon-like objects, including bats,clubs,batons,irons

PLEASE NOTE:  This list is not exhaustive; other items deemed dangerous by Third Circuit Court security personnel will also be prohibited.  All surrendered items will be confiscated and not returned.  This notice is made pursuant to MCR 8.110 and the inherent authority of the Chief Judge to insure the safety and security of the Court and those in attendance.
