Parental involvement is a vital and necessary element in the STAND Program. Parents are expected to be involved and actively participate in the program. Parents are expected to attend all conference hearings and report to the court on their child’s progress during the previous week. Parents are encouraged to attend the parent group that is held on Mondays after to the conference hearings.
