Way2Go Prepaid Mastercard Replaces U S Bank ReliaCard for Child Support Payments
|
Detroit, MI – Recipients of Child Support who receive child support payments on a U.S. Bank ReliaCard will begin receiving those payments on a new Way2Go Prepaid Mastercard in early November.
Way2Go Prepaid Mastercard is a debit card issued by Comerica Bank. With the new Way2Go Card, child support recipients will have access to a new web portal –
www.GoProgram.com and a mobile app available for Apple or Android devices.
Balances on the U.S. Bank ReliaCard will not transfer over to the new card.
Those who have a U.S. Bank ReliaCard and do not want to receive child support payments on a debit card may opt out.
Also, child support recipients whose payments are directly deposited into their personal bank accounts are not affected by the change.
With this change,
Payers of Child Support who are registered to make online payments will need to register to make online payments through ExpertPay on the MiSDU website by November 24, 2020.
Payers whose employers withhold and send in their child support payments through income withholding do not need to register.
