Deposits

In the absence of a Court Order, monetary deposits are required before transcript requests can be processed. The following deposits apply for all cases:

• $50.00 per Motion/Hearing date
• $200.00 per Trial date

Fees

Pursuant to MCLA 600.2543, the rate for transcripts produced in the normal course of business is $1.75 per original page and $0.30 per page for each copy, unless a lower rate is agreed upon.

Public Access Period for Viewing Family Division-Juvenile Section Zoom Video Conference Hearings

Pursuant to Michigan Supreme Court Administrative Order 2020-6, the Zoom recordings of all public portions of Juvenile Section hearings will be available for viewing for a period of 24 hours after the proceeding. You may view a Zoom recording by making a request within 24 hours, as determined under MCR 1.108, of the hearing. Your request should be directed to Tammi Palmer, Director of Case Processing, at 313-224-8796 or Tammi.Palmer@3rdcc.org. You will need the hearing date, name of jurist and case number when you call or email Ms. Palmer. After the expiration of the 24 hour period, public viewing access will be removed. You must then order a transcript from Juvenile Section Court Reporting Services if you want a record of the proceeding.
